Morty’s proprietary origination software includes RUDI, a loan origination system, and Elroy, a borrower-facing experience.

RUDI is Morty’s online loan origination system, which is used to access borrower and loan information. RUDI is only used internally and is not meant to be shared with borrowers or other third parties. It is connected to our data warehouse, which serves as the source of truth for all data concerning borrower activity.
Note, there are various actions in RUDI that change the status of a loan, trigger outbound communications to the borrower and Morty team, and/or change what the borrower can access in Elroy. Because of this, we recommend using caution when adjusting information and statuses in RUDI.

Elroy is the borrower-facing side of Morty’s online platform. The borrower experience is more guided. The home page includes Pre-Approval, Loan Options, Loan Application, and Closing Tracker modules. In a few weeks, we will be adding an additional module called Cost Explorer. The Home page also includes links to Morty’s Mortgage Manual and FAQs.

Quantum Leap (“QL”) is a tool that connects RUDI with Elroy. It enables Morty team members to view and interact with Elroy without logging in to a borrower’s account with a password. Quantum Leap is accessible via a borrower’s RUDI Opportunity Summary page.
Clicking the QL button opens a new tab where you will essentially be logged in as the borrower. You can interact with Elroy as if you are the borrower, and all actions you perform will be recorded the same as if the borrower had performed them. We advise that you use this tool with caution, especially when changing information that has already been entered or when selecting a new loan option. QL should only be used for one borrower at a time. Always log out in Elroy after you are done using QL for a specific borrower.
